Welcome to JM Coastal Carpentry.  A custom-made furniture business based on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast.

Jacob, a Kiwi, moved to Australia 15 years ago where he met his beautiful wife, Yasmin and they have now settled on the coast with two gorgeous girls.

With over 20 years of experience in carpentry, Jacob has always dreamed of having his own furniture business.  During the 2020 Covid lockdown, Jacob finally found the time to use his keen eye for detail and his love of beautiful timber to start making furniture.  The demand for his stunning pieces took off instantly and JM Coastal Carpentry was born.

At JM Coastal Carpentry we are passionate about creating custom furniture that will exceed your expectations.  Working closely with every client, we make sure that your vision is transformed into a piece of furniture that will not only be loved but will last for generations to come. We think outside the box and are not limited to traditional designs.  Anything is possible!

We only use natural Australian hardwood timbers and our goal is to enhance the softness and beauty of the wood, making it the hero.

Our current lead time from first enquiry to completion is approx 6-8 weeks and we offer a personal delivery service from the Tweed to the Sunshine Coast.  Delivery on the Gold Coast is free of charge.
